Nice feature to have, I guess. Some may have encountered it before, navigating back and forth, lost connection. Why not autosave your posts and continue where you left?

Just a question:  How could you accidently close the tab while you are typing a message?  When I am typing my cursor is never close to the top.

Well changing tabs does not close them.

Its surprisingly common. I did it when I did a review for a forum, this was before I started working in a document and then transferring. With chrome you don't get any notification of shutting a tab or even the entire browser. It can also happen accidentally when going to open a tab as another member pointed out. Also if you have a laptop and have a hyper sensitive track pad, you can sometimes when typing nude the track pad and it can go up to the tabs and close it.

However the suggestion at hand: Its a good option to have built in but I believe you can already do this with coding form Avacweb. At time of writing this Avacweb is down for maintenance so I can't give you a direct link but when it isn't I'll link you to the tutorial.

True that and I installed it on my website already, since I'm an Avacweb member. Members like it, truly. It would be nice to have it built-in as a basic feature though! Wink

Before I wrote so many messages, big onces even, and when the phone rings, my bf starts to shout out about dinner, my baby girls want attention, it happened before I lost connection, or just shut down my PC forgetting I was writing a message, or just refreshed the page by mistake ... You know, it could save an evenings worth of typing, moods, relationships even (at the extreme ofc Wink) .... I think everyone's happy with this suggestion.

Hello,

There's a similar suggestion for that here:
https://help.forumotion.com/t33627-auto-draft

We'll continue it on that topic. Wink
