Learning Widgets

Hello, sorry for the misplacement of this topic if I have placed it somewhere it doesn't belong. I'm new here, this is my first post and I am pretty familiar to an extent with forumotion. I am running the Phpbb #2. 



I am looking to learn how use the Widgets section and I dont have just one question in particular as I don't understand them yet. MY page actually has a portal which I have found rather useless, other than that I have not messed with widgets, but I would like to learn how to add, say small games or a second chat box to the site, that would be great. As you can see I have put a few youtube Vids on my forum so I at least know a little bit about coding  but I am lost when it comes to the Widgets section due to all the boxes and options that pop up on this page....



Also, apologies for the screenies but I am a visual learner so it helps me more to understand.

I dont really understand what you want me to help you with? You want to learn how to use widgets or you wanna learn how to place them on your portal?

Sorry for the mis-communication but I want to learn to use them, and I want to learn to put them on my forum, bottom of the page if possible

First of all, the best thing is to learn the basics of HTML like : <center> <center/> <img src="">, <color> </color>, but i can code it for you if you want.

I know how to center, break to make a new line, color etc and put youtube videos and all, but I dont know how to use Widgets and I need it dumbed down for me lol. I want to put a separate chat box at the bottom of the page or a game of like Online Territory War would be great. Thank you for your help.
