Copy or Not?
Good day!
I have a very important problem, someone from another RPG forum says I have copied their rules. In the RPGs rules are so same, but in Mine RPG drafting is different then their, but he threat my forum if I dont modify he report my site and freeforum stuff will delete it. My site have really default rules, thats why he thinks I am copied them, but over 20-30 FRPG site contains these rules, all of them is a copy?! Also that is copy what is older than his site?
Here are the rules, I do not think they are same, but here the staff can check it out and tell me, what I had to change.
My Rules
Their Rules
I also added to my forum a vote, about this:

Please reply, this is very important.

Re: Copy or Not?
Hi
Honestly, it won't be a problem. There are standard rules set-up for each specific kind of forum, so copying or not copying would be pointless overall. The only rules you actually can't violate are the ones set-up by Forumotion itself.
There are no hassles or no worries you should have if you present to the creator the other forums that has his rules which can then prove that its "Standard" for your type of forum.

Re: Copy or Not?
Hi!
Yes, I know it, but I hate if someone threat me, so I want to be sure my rules are not copy. I really want to keep my site, so I want to be sure about it. He is an RPG maffia , and I told them many times, but he always says "It is copy, It is copy...." so I do not think, I can tell it normally, because his answer is same.

Hi
Then please wait for any other staff member to validate this considering if a staff validates it, the stronger your argument will be .

Hi!
Okay, I am doing it. I think it was a pretty low advertisement, but I want to hear what the stuff thinks about this problem.

Re: Copy or Not?
You really can not copyright rules on forums, unless he exactly had them copyrighted which means he has documentation of it.

Hi
You're right; however, if his forum are one of those that need "Standard" rules then that wouldn't be plagiarism. Of course, if he rewords them to his own, that would be great and gives credit for the original owner of the rules, but still, you can take Yu-gi-oh! forums as an example since we have our own standards as well.
