Yes it does happen when posting URLs to websites.
This happens not only on http://www.friendsofudvdr.com/
But http://knowledgetree.forumotion.com/forum too!
Edit: Even get the same thing here.

Yes it is.
I should stress that it is not all websites.
just two sites that don't allow preview/posting.
Without brackets of course.
Re: Posting url links
Do you mean that you can not post those links on your forum? The reason why I ask is because those are not Forumotion forums.

Yes, that's why I gave them as examples.
Some sites work fine (non Forumotion sites).
While others do not,
I am sure this is a recent thing.
Well within the last 6 months.
As far as I know all Forumotion sites work fine.
Whilst I have lived with it.
Some members of my forum are asking what's up.
Is there an answer?
Will members just have to accept it is what it is.
Linking to non Forumotion sites will be hit & miss.
Re: Posting url links

That does seem strange, I will forward the issue to our pro administrator, please be patient.

Re: Posting url links
Hello,
This looks like a permission issue... Are you the founder of the forum? Are you sure you allow to post through that section?
If yes, everyone on your forum have the same thing (just members, just guest, moderator, admin...)?
Could please explain with more details when it is happening?
Are you sure you allowed to post links on your forum?
Thanks in advance for your answer

Yes I am Admin/Founder.
I have set up the permissions correctly.
So as far as I know.
I should have access to post.
Other members who have the same permissions experience this problem too.

Hello,
We'll have to wait on Monday for information about this problem, when Buttercup returns to work. Thank you for your patience.

Hi
Well thanks for that.
Not sure why pavtube.com is blacklisted.
They have dropped certain programs to avoid that problem.
Anyway I assume giveawayoftheday is also blacklisted.
I guess this is solved after a fashion.
