Editing the Html Empty Editing the Html

Is it possible to edit the html of the board?
If so how?

Can I add my own advertisements to my board? (like adsense, etc)
Is so how?

Can I make my board to show the thread name on the last post when looking at the forum index?

(what it shows now)

You can't change the html of the board, although you can write html codes in your posts (like <img src="URL">, or an advertisement code) if you have allowed html in your admin panel (Users & Groups / Users / User Settings) and your profile (Profile / Preferences).

You can create a homepage message in (General / homepage / Configuration) that is placed above your forum, but only at the main site (not in subforums). You can also put html-codes in the homepage message.

To show the sublevels in the index, go to (General / homepage / hierarchy) and set "sublevel links on index" to yes.

To change the time format, go in your admin panel to (General / Configuration) and change there the time format. Also go to your profile and you should change it there as well. (Profile / Preferences) Wink

im sure you can paste the html code from a hitcounter. just google for a free one. once they gave you the code to copy, you can for example create a module for your portal. [LINK]

btw, i also forgot to mention that you can buy points to enable template editing that would allow you to add a html codes that would appear on ever page. note that this is an option for phpBB version 2.0 only at the moment.
