Problem with Quote
Hello. A certain member in my forum has a problem with the quote button. He tried everything and nothing changed. He can see the button but it wont have any effect when he clicks the button. Everyone else can use it fine. Why is this happening?

Re: Problem with Quote
Could it be he is pressing the multi-quote button?

Re: Problem with Quote
I have had no issues on Fx28 or Fx29, as Gray has mentioned; is he clicking multi-quote ? If not, I'd recommend that he check his installed addons.
Re: Problem with Quote
I have no multi-quote button in the posts. He is clicking the quote button and nothing is happening. We tried it with team viewer but nothing happened also..
Re: Problem with Quote

Could you ask the member to take a screenshot of a post and post it here?

Re: Problem with Quote
Pardon ? The quote is an anchor element(link to another page) when clicked you should be taken to that page. Do you have any scripts which are modifying the quote button ? If so I recommend you disable them.Marios94 wrote:The button appears as i said before but when he tries to quote its like the button does not have a function.

The following can prevent an element from acting as it should :
1. ) return false
2. ) peventDefault()
Re: Problem with Quote
I had a javascript which took the quote and it didn't change page but instead it took the quote to the quick reply. But to all of us worked fine until now. Anyway, i disabled it and i am waiting for his reply.
Re: Problem with Quote
Whoever made the script, perhaps you should report them this issue so they can look into it.
