Moderating

Hey,

I have a special group called 'moderators' on my forum and they moderate my forum but the problem I've hit is that I've unchecked the option for them to make a global announcement yet they still are able to make one... How to solve this?

No, the moderating group isn't ment to post global announcements, it's checked off in all forums.

Before you enter the advanced permissions page when you have a forum set up. Do you have the box titled 'Special Messages' ticked for the moderators group?

What do you mean? Where is this button?

Is this ticked?

Nope, it is toggled off

Administration Panel > Users & Usergroups > Usergroups
When you looked at the permission tab for the group, did you check the box to moderate.

It was automatically checked yes

Still having the problem
