How to center a widget on the forum index

Hello, I've created a widget for the forum index, but when I go to place the widget, it won't allow me to place it in the center. I was creating a box with links which could be placed under the navbar (similar to Forumotion's Forum Index), but I cannot seem to place it in the center.
