Signatures for members

Post by Swagbito on 5/1/2015, 11:29

Link me 10 forums where members can`t have signatures. Yeah. U can`t. It`s crap that staff only get sigs. MEMBERS SHOULD HAVE SIGNATURES!!! This is discrimination.

Hello

this suggestion Will no not be talen into account, because
- all post pages would become heavy and slow to load
- posts would become a mess
- new members would be confused in reading topics

you can even find an official topic about this Wink

The staff has disabled signatures for members because the fact that they may use signatures to advertise. Disallowing members to have signatures makes our job a bit easier.

Ramdaman, I agree, FM has this policy on all its boards.
Plus signatures here are used as reminder of the rules & regulations.

So I don't know what kinds of rules can members post lol!
(as I see no point in using signatures here)

Indeed, and pointless if we can only post rules wonder which ones members will post. Laughing
I therefore refrain from voting.

We agree, it's tempting, but mods can't control all of us if we put obscene, racist ot any illegal stuff...
right?

We won't be allowing members to have signatures, its been brought up numerous times. We're a support forum and don't want the forums getting clogged up with massive forum advertisements and people spamming the forums with their sig links in order to get more exposure.

Suggestion Refused
