Description of problem

I'm probably doing this wrong, and I apologize. I would like to know how to put videos from sites OTHER than YouTube into the forum. We have a button on the dialog/response box tool bar for YouTube videos, and that places a playable video INTO the dialog box. I'd like to enable members to post videos from Vimeo and perhaps other sites without them just inserting a link that takes them away from the forum. Is that possible? Something like the YouTube tool/icon? I found another thread here that sort of addressed the issue, but that was for people with a Vimeo Plus (paid) account, and we don't have that. Any suggestions?

Are all the video links MP4s ? If so you could most likely use the following for a button :

The editor has three buttons for videos:  Youtube, Dailymotion, and Flash.  If the video is not from Youtube or Dailymotion, use the Flash button.
