Guests not being able to chat

Description of problem

I set up a place for guests and members to chat and nobody was chatting and for some reason I logged out and tried to chat but it was saying I needed a username..why would I need a username if I am a guest..how do I fix that so guests can chat..just in that one place..

That is how it is set up. It can not be changed.

Ok then how does a guest use a username????

When a guest starts a topic or replies, there should a box at the top for username.

OMGosh..that is what I am talking about...there is a place for a username..so what are they to put in there..I tried putting in guest and it said in use..I put Broomhilda61 which is my Admin..username and it said in use..so how in the world does it work..

After posting here I went outside to get some fresh air and think on what I can do..I logged out and put my name Samantha_B and it worked..so now I will have the guests use their real name and if someone has the same name they can add a number after the last name..

This is solved..thank you for your help
