Thank you so much for taking the time to assist me with this issue.

My forum is www.SandSFun4All.forumotion.com

Why do my topics only appear "purple" and not "green" when I've added a new post?  I post every day and want my members to see it right away.

How do I add buttons?  I want a particular post to be "HOT" but there is no "hot" button .... yet I've not "hidden" any buttons on the configuration (or whatever) page.

I'm so sorry but I've never done anything like a forum before and am totally a dunce.

I always appreciate your help and you are the best forum around ... bar none.

Thanks so much.

You can Add buttons in:

ACP > Display > Pics Management > Advanced Mode > Buttons. (these are buttons for the Forum)

To add a "HOT" topic icon go to

ACP > Display > Pics Management > Advanced Mode > Topic Icons > and add a "HOT" Icon you can find in google. Also make the permissions so only Mods or Admins can add that Icon to a topic: http://prntscr.com/64mdma

Anything else you need, please let me know ^^

For the third part, I'm not entirely sure what you're intending to do; but if you want to add category icons next to the topic titles to display when the thread is locked, has a new post, or has no new post, then go to Admin Control Panel -> Display -> Pics Management -> Advanced Mode -> Icons for topics -> Then you can upload pictures for them there.
