Solved Member in violation of Terms of Service

Post by haiven November 28th 2015, 4:33 pm

I would like to report a user who is in violation of many of your Terms of Service:

"You cannot use the products and services, or associate them to any content or activity which might be harmful to the any individual person's private rights :
Contents which are Illegal, harmful, threatening, improper, slanderous, vulgar, obscene or ethically reprehensible.
Content which discloses personal datum that could identifies children under age of 18 or which exploit the images."

On her blog she makes very harmful, slanderous statements about my 4-year-old son accusing him of being a "False Messiah",
and discloses his personal datum (full legal name, date of birth) as well as many pictures of him taken from my Facebook account. She also makes false accusations about my husband and I that would be harmful and detrimental to my reputation and occupation as a Registered Nurse.

The blog which I am referring to is:
http://victorianripper.niceboard.org/t2474p10-warning-false-messiah

Please ban this user as she is quite mentally ill and creating damage that will follow me and my 4-year-old throughout our lives.

I have declared a litigation to no avail. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

You can report the forum in question to our litigation team by declaring a litigation against the forum. You can do so at this link: https://www.forumotion.com/litigation .

Edit: I see you said already have, when did you fill it out? The litigation team gets alot of reports so it may take a little while before they get to your report, just hang tight, be patient and I am sure you will find it is taken care of in due time. Wink

No problem, the litigation team will get to the report at some point, however, maybe our pro admin @Buttercup can speed up the process when she comes in on Monday and hopefully sees this topic. It will be atleast until Monday before she sees it though, because it is the weekend and the main office is closed. Sad

Just hang tight, I am sure your problem will be resolved in due time and I do wish you much luck in career as a nurse and although it is not my fault, I do apologize as a human being for what has happened to you and your family. Smile

Regards,
-Brandon

Thanks Bradon. Your words are kind. No one deserves to be humiliated and embarrassed on the internet. Cyberbullying happens more often than it should. Thank goodness for kind people that show me there is still respect and compassion in the world.

I think the offending person owns the blog. Haiven, this poster has no powers on that site.

Yes, she is trashing my family on her own blog and I am quite upset by it. She has posted pictures of my young child saying he is Illuminati and the son of Barack Obama (wtf). It's disturbing. This is my SISTER btw, and AUNT of the 4-year-old she is badmouthing and calling an "abomination". She is a racist swine and has disowned me because I married someone who she believes is ISIS just because he is brown.

Solved Re: Member in violation of Terms of Service

Post by Ape November 30th 2015, 12:48 am

can i just make one thing clear

There is 2 ways to make a report about a forum.... You can make a report to the Admin / Funder of the forum by clicking on the footer link Report a problem

If that is how you made the report then it will no go to our team it will only go to the Fonder of that forum and any admin's that site may have.

If you are making a report to our members of staff then you must report it here https://www.forumotion.com/litigation

as already said by brandon_g This can take upto 1 week to be looked at as the team is really busy on other reports...

The Admin will then get a warning on the ACP saying to remove this content or there forum will be banned.. or we may see it fit to Delete the forum on the spot and ban them.

Please Note that our team Do not work at weekends so you have to give it time for us to deal with this.

If you Don't get word from our team in a week then please feel free to let us know and we will then ask Buttercup to see how long it will be before it is removed.
