I no longer manage to access my admin account

Someone has hacked into my form Administration and locked us out.

My forum is at Removed or at Removed

Someone has hacked into the admin panel and changed my password. They also disabled password reset for administrators so I cannot log in to the forum.

It seems they have also changed the password of the other administrators, so I cannot get someone to log into the panel and fix this issue.

This is the second forum I have made on formotion, the same thing happened to my first forum, many years ago. I am very surprised that this has not been fixed. Not sure how they got in, (brute-force or other method), but it should not be so easy for someone to do.

Please could an administrator help me with this issue.

Have you logged in to your Forum Utilities and tried to backup your forum ?

did you miss the part where I said they "changed my password. They also disabled password reset for administrators"

I cannot reset my password, so I cannot log in!

I don't need to do a backup, I need to do a password reset.

You did not answer the question. The utilities is a completely different thing.

Hello,

Sorry to hear your account was taken from you. I'd recommend sending Buttercup a private message informing her of the issue, that is if the utilities thing does not work out.

Include as much evidence as possible to prove you are the founder such as the email you used and a screenshot of the email message you received when you created the forum.

The funders tool are not the same thing you should still have use of that tool if you do you can use that tool to log in to your ACP and fix the problem

Anyway as SLGray Follow that link he gave and we will reset your password for you.
