tr is a table row.
td is table data.
You can read more about tables in Google
- Code:
<table><tr><td align="middle"><img src="YOUR IMAGE LINK HERE" /></td><td>YOUR CONTENT HERE</td></tr></table>

Re: How to set images in homepage?
Use a table. There is a button for tables in the editor. Do it in the WYSIWYG mode. It will ask you have many rows and columns you want.

If you have 3 images, you will need 3 columns.
- Code:
[table][tr][td][img]IMAGE'S URL[/img][/td]
[td][img]IMAGE'S URL[/img][/td]
[td][img]IMAGE'S URL[/img][/td]
[/tr]
[/table]

If you want multiple images next to each other you do this:
- Code:
