Solved Add Friend and Foe buttons overlapping

Post by .DayDreamer. on February 16th 2016, 11:42 am

I added a button around the friend/foe links a while back and they've never given me any problems, but I just noticed that they are now overlapping with each other and they won't budge no matter what I do. I don't know how this happened and I don't know how to fix it. Can someone please help me?

Here's the code I used for the buttons if anyone needs to see it.
Code:
#profile-advanced-add a {
   border: 1px solid #27425c !important;
   border-radius: 3px;
   display: center;
   padding: 5px 7px;
   background: #6d7f91;
   margin-top: 4px;
   font-weight: normal !important;
   text-shadow: none;
   font-size: 10px !important;
}
#profile-advanced-add a:hover {
   background-color:#7b8b9c;
   background-position:6px center;
   border-color:#416283 !important;
}

Hello @.DayDreamer.,
Replace your CSS code with the following:

Code:

        #profile-advanced-add a {
          border: 1px solid #27425c !important;
          border-radius: 3px;
          display: inline-block;
          padding: 5px 7px;
          background: #6d7f91;
          margin-top: 4px;
          font-weight: normal !important;
          text-shadow: none;
          font-size: 10px !important;
        }
        #profile-advanced-add a:hover {
          background-color:#7b8b9c;
          background-position:6px center;
          border-color:#416283 !important;
        }

You had an error in display command in your CSS.
After this change it must looks like this:

Thank you very much! I must have changed that part of the code thinking it was something else. Oops. I guess I shouldn't code so late at night anymore...

I shall mark topic as solved.
