Email Notification of New Users
Hello
I suddenly stopped received email notifications for new users and users who deleted their accounts.
Administration Panel > Users and Groups > User Options > Send notify e-mail on new user registrations is checked as yes.
Admin email is correct.
I can see new users in the Home page joining, and noticed a recent guest poster, but have not been notified in either cases.
Please let me know how to correct this.

Hello, Thank you for asking for help on this problem.
Can you please give this a try.
Go in your ACP and turn that part off and then resynchronise your forum and then turn it back on to your settings you want.
Reason for this:
Some times our servers get a little slow and need a hit to reset the problems so making this little step can help us fix the little things faster.

How do I resync the whole forum at once without having to resync each thread?

Hello,
You can re snyc the entire forum in ACP-->General-->Configuration-->Scroll down to the bottom, you will 'Re-Sychronize' the forum . Do this, then proceed to turn the setting off and back on once more.
This should get the server to truly save your setting serverside.

I have followed your instructions, however it hasn't solved the issue. I've had 5 new members overnight and did not receive an email notice for any of them.

Have you checked your spam/junk folder to see if it could have landed in there?
Did these users activate their accounts themselves (if you activation set to user) or did you have to manually activate them by hand (via inactive users section).

Can i ask a really strange Question (to you maybe) but it will help me lots
Who is your Email provider ?
Just give last Domain like Live.com Homail.com /uk Yahoo and so on

I had the same email for Admin and GuardianAngel - they are both me.
I changed GuardianAngel's email to gmail.com and have received a notification of new user who just joined but not in the outlook.
Admin outlook.com - no email notifications.
GuardianAngel - changed to gmail.com received notifications.
It has never been a problem having both accounts with both outlook.com, it suddenly stopped.

Yes this is a problem we are getting all over the Place
Outlook / hotmail / Live - as you may know they are now all From Microsoft We also had a Big Problem with Yahoo doing the same
The problem is we have No power over them
I will make a report to our team about this but right now i really Don't think we can do any more.

Sorry, I didn't see the other post. Yes I checked the spam folder. Once the accounts are activated by the members, a welcome pm is sent.
Ok thank you. I will keep an eye on it. So far, gmail is working fine.

Just to clarify, Admin email is outlook.com. That's the one I'm not getting email notifications.
The new user's emails are various accounts, hotmail, verizon, etc.
