In progress New User Can't Sign In to Forum

Registered for a forum and received the activation email. When I click on the link in the email, I get the following message: "Sorry, but no such user exists." If I go back to the registration site, it says my username or my email is already registered.
Is there a delay in activation?

Admin Panel > Users & Groups > Users > User Options > Members > New accounts activation > Set to No or User

I think the topic starter is just a member on the forum @KpuCk0 .

@Johnsfolly, try seeing if you can contacting the forum admin to ses if they will activate the account for you. Wink

Have you tried logging into the forum?

Also when you were sent back to the registration page, was there any message?
