Banner Size
Hi everyone,
The top of my forum has a real sloppy look to it. I would like to clean it up by making it the same size as the banner and dimensions as the one shown on this Support Forum above. I like how the banner bleeds into the NavBar. How do I go about setting my dimensions to replicate what is shown here? What size banner is used?
phpBB is my forum type

Thank you!

Re: Banner Size
Hi there,
The banner width used here is 865x201 but the entire header isn't their banner, they just used the same background color as the banner so it appeared to be the entire header.

Re: Banner Size
Thank you for being responsive. My last question is how do I get rid of some of the blank spaces? I would like to make the NavBar look like the one shown above. The red squiggles in the screenshot below is the section of the header I would like to get cleaned up.
Re: Banner Size
Try adding this into your CSS Stylesheet.
- Code:
.headerbar {
margin-bottom: 0 !important;
}
#page-body {
margin-top: 0 !important;
}
Re: Banner Size
I do not believe that did anything. I left that code in the stylesheet so you can check my forum for yourself. I don't see a difference.
Re: Banner Size
Are you sure you entered them correctly in the right spot? Cause I don't see them on your site. Make sure to copy and paste exactly what I put.
Re: Banner Size
Hmm, that is weird. Try putting 'px' after the 0's. So it reads 'margin-top: 0px !important'
Re: Banner Size
Is that not the forum's description?

Re: Banner Size
By default in phpbb3, the search bar is below the navbar and yes, it can be accomplished in phpbb via editing the templates.
