go to admin panel-> general -> profiles
and untick the options you don't want to see. you can even change the questions there

yeah, i have done that. and there is only one box belo "humor" ad "jobs/hobbies" which is "compulsory for regestration" and it is unticked.
although it still shows it on my profile! Sad

Impossible...did you save it correctly
try ctrl+F5 to clear your cookies.... it should work

I should mention that "display in the posts" only removes the entries from the posters-profile (to the side of your posts). It won't be removed from your main profile if you mean this.

"compulsary for registration" only determines if a field has to be filled during the registration process.

so theres no way of moving them from the members profiles?

Not to my knowledge, sorry. You can leave the fields empty, but that would still display the text-field where users can enter text in their profile. Confused
