Description of problem

I am building 3 forums in parallel in En, Ge and Fr and would like the 'Home' button to default to the forum in the language of the members' choice, as indicated in their profile. What is the best way to do this. I am not an expert on coding but I am learning some.

If they set their language in their profiles, the navbar links will be in their language. I mean after they log in.

We will have three sections on the forum where members will post in different languages and I want to redirect the users to their respective section based on their profile: English forum, French forum or German forum.

Well, create groups for each language, then set the permissions for each forum for those groups.  When a certain language group logs in, they will only see their section/forum.

That was a good idea, but the members need access to the entire forum, they like to browse the other language sections as well. I just was hoping to have them default to their preferred language area when they logged in. But that's OK, I setup some sort of work around, although not perfect. Thanks for trying to help.
