So you may need to add some new codes to your templates.

As far as i know NO the ban system still reads the Email and the username as banned as for the IP address that maybe one thing they can use still as the IP address on a mobile will change all the time even with Wifi turned on the phone

Just asking, how do we monetize forums now? The topic in the support forum seems kinda outdated and I can't see any "monetization" tab in my forum page of Topic'it...

(Nevermind, just read in the FAQ that it's not possible with Forumotion forums...)

I am registering topic for my forum and got the api key. Now it's asking me to upload a forum banner?

I don't want a banner, we have the rotating banner in place. If I save my information will it default to the blue image that shows when registering?

Hello,

That is because Topic it was not designed to show any widgets. It is designed to allow you to post and create topics and that is about it. Same with the mobile version of the site. Widgets only show on the classic version (desktop version) of he site, this is normal.

Just checking, so there is no way to disable regular mobile view on the forum and have only the app?
Maybe I missed something.

Hello @Kami-sama No there is No way to turn off mobile system.

All the settings are installed server side.

But you don't have to use Topic it if you don't want to.

@APE , thank you for response, but maybe you misunderstood me. I would like to have only classic desktop version available on mobile devices. The pole for this request was closed and linked to this topic., as if the request was resolved via having this app. Or maybe, there is a way to have desktop option by default?

This is what I meant the settings are all set on the servers and there is No real way to change this.

The system looks to see what device you are using and then picks the one setting server side.

There is codes out there to hide the mobile tag but the system will still see your mobile as a mobile and set it to the right setting with a code or not.

I like the way this works as some mobiles are not that good and can't cope with your forum the way it is on the desk top layout and can make problems.

To remove this would only upset some members with the cheaper mobiles out there.

Hi,

@jucarese wrote: @Kami-sama hello,you can do it from the templates area -> mobile version: selecting that your forum always open with the web version on your mobile

That setting enables you to choose between classic old mobile version (like my forum) and the modern one (like here). Not to choose between desktop and mobile version.

Try this Javascript position in the index:
Code:
if($('meta[name=viewport]').length){
      //mobile version
      //redirect to classic version
    window.location = "index.forum?mobile&redirect=/" + (location.pathname+location.search).substr(1);
    }
