In progress Google ads

First topic message reminder :

Hello

I've been facing a problem with Google adsense ads.txt with
my forum:
After I've added my
ad code:
google.com, pub-4243766371831011, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0
to my forum i still get that warning message "Earnings at risk - One or more of your ads.txt files doesn't contain your AdSense publisher ID. Fix this now to avoid severe impact to your revenue."

I contacted Google adsense and that was their reply
Simple. Ads.txt  will look at domain.com/ads.txt for
A subdomain.domain.com site.

Talk to  your domain provider to resolve.

I just need to add my ad code to that domain (forumsmusic.com/ads.txt)

Thanks

You will have to wait until Google starts supporting subdomains.

Okay thanks for your help, but my problem has not been solved yet.
Well i guess i still have to wait and lose more earnings, how unfortunate that is!

Could you not just remove your ads until Google starts supporting subdomains? It did say in that information that it would be sometime in early 2018.

Are you sure that the problem is with google? I also updated my ads.txt 5 days ago and reported google also and the answer was to add the ads.txt because it`s missing. And of course they tell me to add it to the domain friendhood.net/ads.txt. My website is ipbox.friendhood.net there, a subdomain to friendhood.net.
Is it not possible to add our codes to the domains ads.txt?
I also have another subdomain, on another platform and I have no problem with it. link

This part was taken from ads.txt v1.0.1 specification update

Code:
4.5 SUBDOMAIN REFERRAL
The fifth example is a website that refers the crawler to a subdomain with a different set of
authorized systems.  The crawler shou
ld take the subdomain as another URL to fetch data from
and associate to the the subdomain and NOT the parent domain.
http://example.com/ads.txt
# Ads.txt file for example.com:
greenadexchange.com, 12345, DIRECT, d75815a79
blueadexchange.com, XF436, DIRECT
[b]subdomain=divisionone.example.com[/b]

therefore,

http://divisionone.example.com/ads.txt
# Ads.txt file for divisionone.example.com:
silverssp.com, 5569, DIRECT, f496211
orangeexchange.com, AB345, RESELLER

Code:
5.5 SUBDOMAINS
When writing crawlers, implementers should request the /ads.txt from the root domains that are
driving significant r
equests for advertising.  Publishers should always post the /ads.txt file on
their root domain.  The crawler should strip the subdomains when creating the crawler’s URL
list.  The public suffix list [12][16] should be utilized in implementing subdomain str
ipping.
In cases where specific subdomains have different authorized advertising systems, the
publisher should post ads.txt files only on those subdomains and declare each of those
subdomains explicitly in the ads.txt on the root domain using the "subdoma
in=" variable.
Crawlers should only crawl for ads.txt files on subdomains that are listed using the
"subdomain=" variable in the ads.txt on the root domain.
When the ads.txt
file
on the root domain declares a subdomain and an ads.txt
file
exists on that
subdomain, only advertising systems listed in the subdomain ads.txt are authorized to sell
inventory on that subdomain. When the ads.txt on the root domain doesn't declare a subdomain
or
when
an ads.txt does not exist on the subdomain, only
the
advertising systems listed in the
root domain ads.txt are authorized to sell inventory on that subdomain

That means, as I quoted above that our subdomains are added to the root domains ads.txt as in the example from ads.txt v1.0.1 specification update?

Forumotion has given us the ability to add to our forums' ads.text files, not the root domain.

Ok, I quote again, maybe I am the only one that reads differently

Code:
Crawlers should only crawl for ads.txt files on subdomains that are listed using the
"subdomain=" variable in the ads.txt on the root domain.

And of course the subdomain has its own ads txt

Code:
        4.5 SUBDOMAIN REFERRAL
The fifth example is a website that refers the crawler to a subdomain with a different set of
        authorized systems.  The crawler shou
ld take the subdomain as another URL to fetch data from
and associate to the the subdomain and NOT the parent domain.
        http://example.com/ads.txt
        # Ads.txt file for example.com:
        greenadexchange.com, 12345, DIRECT, d75815a79
        blueadexchange.com, XF436, DIRECT
        [b]subdomain=divisionone.example.com[/b]

        therefore,

        http://divisionone.example.com/ads.txt
        # Ads.txt file for divisionone.example.com:
        silverssp.com, 5569, DIRECT, f496211
        orangeexchange.com, AB345, RESELLER

Or maybe its another problem why my ads are not showing? I purchased on Mon 1 Jan 2018 - 22:44 Add 12 months without ads.

The main office said to a ticket I made that you need to read this:
@Google wrote:We are planning to crawl and enforce ads.txt files placed on subdomains beginning some time in early 2018. We will provide further details when this feature is available.
Please read:  https://help.forumotion.com/t154627-new-declare-authorized-sellers-on-your-forums-with-ads-txt-file
