Solved Styling Ad Boxes?

Post by ivyleaf on June 24th 2018, 5:26 pm

Hi! I was just wondering if there is any way to style the box containing the ad on the forum? I understand we cannot remove it, but is there any way to add a pretty border around it or something so it doesn't clash so much with everything else? Thanks!

Yes you can add a boarder or some thing nice around it but as you know you can't remove it without paying for a package

Hmm, the code isn't working. I went ahead and played around with some other ids and classes, but none of them seem to be sticking either.

It didn't work when I tried that exact code, however, after I removed the .dc8d92a47 and replaced them with divs, there was a border applied. The problem with this, though, is that it adds a border to all sorts of other divs as well. I think the class in your code is one that changes every time I reload the page, which is why it isn't working.

delete the code and try this code instead

Code:

.gwd-page-size {
    width: 700px;
    height: 80px;
    border: 4px solid #f8e449;
}

You need to get the CSS selector of the ad box, not the ad itself.

Nope, that one isn't working either. And so far I can't seem to find a selector for the div that doesn't change every time the page is loaded.
