Hello it looks to me you have some problems with your CSS files and codes you may have installed

You need to turn off all javaScripts and then test to see if you can see it

if that don't work then try and set your forum CSS files to (Force the basic CSS:) in your CSS files this will reset your CSS to the basic then look to see if the problem is still there or not.

If no then you have a code in your CSS that is messing your forum up.

Well, that did the trick by forcing the basic CSS, however, if you look through again, the header looks different. http://tdz-clan.forumotion.com/

Can you provide us a list (in spoilers) of the css codes you have installed?

If forcing the basic css made the problem no longer occur, then that means its a problem with one of your css codes.

Please PM me with a test account that has admin right's and I will take a look for you.

I will then post your code that is messing it up and you can change it your self.

A test account info:
Test account's are a new account that you the founder can make with a fake Email address that will need to be activated by the founder or admin of your site.

When a "support staff member" asks for a test account they will ask for one of to things,
Test account with admin rights or a test account without admin rights.

You will then PM the staff member with the name of that test account, password, and URL of your forum for running tests on your forum to find your problem.

Don't Worry staff will not change anything without you knowing first.

After you have had the problem fixed you will need to change the test account password so the staff member can no longer use it again without you knowing.

Why do we ask for a test account?
years a go a staff member would make a test account on your forum, Help you find the problem and then leave.
This made 100's if not more of account's that may never be used by us again and it would take to much of our time up just making an account.

So now staff will ask for a test account if it's needed to save us time and having to remove the account we made every time we fix your problem/s

Solved Re: Quick Reply Box is missing.

Post by APE on July 25th 2018, 10:56 pm

Hello I found the code that is messing your Quick reply system up

I removed it and tested it and am 100% happy with it being this code.

Code:
form#quick_reply {
  position: fixed !important;
  transition-duration: 1000ms;
  transition-timing-function: ease-out;
  transform: translateX(-50%) translateY(100%);
  z-index: 999;
  display: inline-block;
  bottom: 0;
  padding-bottom: 16px;
  background: #171d23;
  border: 2px solid #171d23;
  box-shadow: 0 1px 1px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.3), 0 0 1px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.3);
  width: 900px;
  max-width: 95%;
}

Not really sure why this code is not working but it is the code that is the problem.

Please Note I have not removed the code as I would like the founder to do this.

Well, thanks for the fix, however what should I do with the header navigation bar colliding with the site's description?

Please make a new thread for any other problems you may have.

Note:

if you have more than one problem you should make a new thread of each problem but it's best to do one at a time then when that problem is fixed post your next problem on a fresh thread.

Is this problem now solved ? If yes please press the mark solved button at the top of this thread/ topic

Thank you.
