Hello @Pauline54
Thank you for your report about your admin's problems.
To help us understand the problem more can you ask your Admin to take a screen shot of what they see when they try and log in to your forum or when they click the link.
and what kind warning is this member getting?

Re: Adminstrator Problem
Hi Ape:
They can't take a screenshot cause they can't see the board or get in there. They log in with no problems. One of my forum boards there is called Our Office. They don't see any errors cause they are already in my forum.

Re: Adminstrator Problem
Are they on the group that can see that section?

Re: Adminstrator Problem
Are you sure they are in the actual admin group. Make sure you add them to the one with the crown in the admin panel.

Re: Adminstrator Problem
I am sorry, its a star not a crown (I was thinking of the old admin panel design). See in my scree shot the admin group with the red star next to it? That is considered the actual admin group, only members in this group will have admin panel access.
To add members just click on the group and then at the bottom type in the username of who you want to join.

Re: Adminstrator Problem
Hi Brandon:
This is not what I am talking about. I made them Admin. for my forum. So they can help posting etc. I don't want them to have access to Admin. panel but for them to be able to access a board in my forum called Our Office. They can access all my other boards in my forum but not the Our Office one.

Re: Adminstrator Problem
Have you gave the group their in have permission to read, write and reply?
This can be done by going to ACP (Admin panel)-->General-->Categories and forums-->on this page, find the section you want them to be able to view and click the little yellow gear ( or cog) icon-->This take you to page with 2 tabs at the top, modify and permissions, click permissions-->You will then see a page that looks like this:
Tick the boxes that say 'view and read' and 'write and reply' , don't forget to hit save.

Re: Adminstrator Problem
oh I get you now LOL
I thought you meant they could not log on the forum at all.
you are saying you made a staff forum within the main forum for just staff to see and your member is now a Co admin without. admin page right's now you added them to a group that is staff but for some reason that member can't see the forum you are talking about.
Okay go to your members profile using the ACP then it should look something like this
Click Permissions then scroll down the page to the forums you want that member to see and tick the mod box next to the forum you want them to see then save
