Facebook RSS teasers

Years ago, when I first started using forumotion forums, I made a Hootesuite account to link up the forum with Facebook and Twitter via the RSS feed. It was good because teasers were posted on the Facebook group and on Twitter simultaneously that linked directly to the post in the forum so that memebers could receive notifications on their Social media that a new post had been made. Over the years the RSS linking seens to have become a premium, paid, option in Hootesuite and Facebook seems to have changed how it works with a feed... I’m still looking at it to get my head around how things have changed... so I am wondering what people are using now that will achieve a similar thing?
