Problem with webmail services

When the problem appeared : when the sender cc to my gmail or personal email, it's always can be reached within few minutes. However, accepting through the webmail services always take much more time, and sometimes unreachable.

Description of problem

The webmail forward and mailbox services are slow, and always behind more than a few hours. Hence, I would like to change the mailing services to others in the same domain name, is there any way to do this?

Webmail services is a service hosted on our side and the domain is linked to your forum by our host.
Sadly you can't link your account with any other service hosted outside of webmail.

If you have a problem where your Emails are not getting to you fast we can look in to this to see if we have a problem with the webmail services servers.

No problem with webmail inbox:

have you sent mass mailings ??? because if so, take longer to reach their destination

Yes, I would like to using same domain but different e-mail service.

Hi, it's constantly late for few hours. When it's come from some specific party, it took longer and never reach.
For now in order to overcome this problem, I can only ask them to cc my hotmail as a backup medthod. The Webmail services are taking ridiculous (3～5hours) longer time to reach in compare with my hotmail.

Definitely, please look on and see if any problem with the webmail services servers. It's an important issues for me and my members.

I tried webmail inbox and redirection, however, webmail inbox and redirection are both taking longer time when comparing the gmail and hotmail services using cc function.

Even if mass mailing, it's not supposed to late 4++hours to reach in compare with my personal gmail and hotmail consistently .

It is not just your mass. all emails from all forums at once and the mail server is saturated, with your gmail or hotmail from 50 emails already take time to send

Are you sending the Emails from Webmail or are you just receiving the Emails?

EDIT: I sent a Email to my self by webmail to hotmail and it took 2 seconds to get to me.
Sent from hotmail to webmail took 7 seconds This is fast for a outside server.
If it was a mass Email it would take some time as it is sent in a long queue.

I'm ussually not sending out email using my webmail, much of the time I'm only receiving emails from others parties, so I'm not sure if they're using what services or either they're mass sending or not.
I do acknowledge someday I would have receive like 10~12 email (which maybe a lot) to my mail box, but I don't think it will overload the system just by receiving 10~12 email a day.

Well I have tested this tool (webmail) and it is working fine.
As there is no other reports of problems I am really not sure there is a big problem.

It's usually okay when tested by me as well, however when receiving emails from other parties, this problem always comes out consistently, I know that it is an issue that hard to identify.
Thus, I would like to change host, since google is 100% no problem and always receive the email earlier in term of receiving the email from other parties.
I may consider transferring my domain name to another domain service such as google domain that owns by me, this may give me the authority to change the email host. However, I would like to know if they're a safe way to do this without risking losing my domain?

It will not change the webmail service.  External and Forumotion's domain names give the same webmail service.

Do you have it where you are in both boxes in the AP under webmail?  If yes, it will not work correctly.  You can only have it  in one of the boxes.  You can not create a webmail address and have a redirection.

It do sound like if domains purchased through over providers / Hosts are getting different mail system.

Sorry, can you explain it more on"both boxes in the AP under webmail", I don't think I can understand clearly?
Maybe give a more specific example?

Like, I can't have:
email-of-my-forum@mydomain.com that redirect to mypersonal@hotmail.com and mypersonal@gmail.com?
meanwhile, having :
email-of-my-forum1@mydomain.com
?

So say you go to Godaddy and get the following address >>

Now you link this to your forum hosted by us on your ACP

Now what ever address you put in the webmail it will be the same. Webmail is still just a platform hosted by us.

The only real way to fix this is to stop using webmail and to use a Gmail account NOT linked to the forum what so ever.

BUT this is 100% upto you if you don't want to use the Webmail settings on your forum.

I just wanted to know what is the problem that making the late arriving an issues and if can be solved or not, I would prefer settle it by a way that remain my current domain name and email address without having need to tell my members that the address or domain was change.

if it's just because I setting it wrong and can fix easily, there have no need to go through this troubles.

When you create a webmail address, that email address can not be redirected. If you want to have a redirection, you have to only create an redirection.

not sure, if I get your meaning or not, but you mean that the same email address can't be in both webmail address and redirected correct?

I see I have no this type of redirection. So just to confirm here, I'm facing an issue that we can't identify, and there has no possible way that my issue can get better or fix from here. Are my interpretation of the situation here correct?

If that's the case, I'm thinking if I can get EPP code and get my domain name unlock, transfer it to Google domain, and use G-suite e-mail services and forwarding system provided by them, while remaining my forum as the same domain name.

Is it possible to do that without any interruption when the domain name almost expire? if yes, what is the step?

If you bought the domain through us, then I am afraid this isn't possible. Forumotion Domain names are locked to our service and can not be transferred to any other host.

After the discussion through PM's. it could be that the issue is caused by the customized emails going to webmail.  I mean the ones you receive from businesses.

Just FYI, just today that I got an email extremely late which it should come at 10 am and it redirected to my email 1 am next day.

Update:  The head office has seen the ticket and marked it in progress.

@zims are you still having issues with this?
