Founder absent

Hello!

I would like to become the 'Founder' of a forumotion forum - the original founder has not been present since June 2020.

Before absenting themselves original founder has remove any Moderators or Administrators, so it is not possible to gain the votes of the existing Moderators or Administrators.

As per your FAQ, once I have posted this message I can send more details via PM.

Can I ask you for following:

Are you a active member on the forum?
Please post a link to your profile and username on the forum.
URL of the forum you would like to take over.

Information:
You don't need to get the votes of staff you need to get votes from all your Active members if you are not staff or the forum don't have staff members.

As long as you can post your can ask the members to vote in a topic you have made and this must be in Guests view so we can see the topic made.

I am user 'eternally_troubled' (https://cb500.forumotion.com/u40) and yes, I am active on the forum.

The existing founder (username is 'Admin', was previously 'spitonyourgrave22' https://cb500.forumotion.com/u1) has not visited the forum since June 2020 (more than the six month waiting time):



In the past we have attempted to engage with the existing Founder - he only seems interested in stopping us taking over the forum and no longer interested in administering it properly or taking any part in its future, other than to frustrate us.

I'm quite happy to attempt a 'poll' or forum vote - a previous attempt gained a fair number of votes for a 'new' Founder and will arrange that.

If there is any way in which I can help or expedite this process then please contact me,

I have done That's why I've posted here. I'm quite happy to continue via PM if that would be easier/better.

I fear that the fundamental problem we face is that there is little to be done if the original Founder just lurks in the background, reappearing only to stop any attempt to gain control from them. It would be easier if they just never came back, but unfortunately they do (we have tried to do this before).

Given that, I think, this process is the *only* option (please tell me if there is another one) we have to keep trying.

It is done through PM's.  You need to send all required information to one of the listed  staff members.  Send only one PM to  only one staff member.
