Google Search displays Topics
Hi guys
When searching for my forum on Google using the forum link: msag.forumotion.com (https://msag.forumotion.com/) the Google search results display the topics in the forum.
Is it possible to withhold the topics from displaying on Google as the forum is a private action group and some of it's content may be financially sensitive?
I am a member in another forumotion forum and this does not happen when I search their forum, and having asked them, they can't help me on this issue.
Many thanks in advance.

Hello and welcome to the English support forum.
On your forum when you are not logged in can you see this topic, forum ?
If yes you would need to change the settings in your ACP (Admin Control Panel) to be hidden to the public until logged in.
Google and any other bot's from the web only see things that a guest would see it should not see any other topic's if not logged in.

Hello,
You can manage it via Google Search Console too: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/9689846?hl=en
The topics will continue to be readable but not visible on Google search results. But it's technical and it is a dangerous tool in case of error.

No I mean here

NOTE: You will have to do this to all the forums you don't want Google or any other bot's to see but I would say keep some forums open to guests so non members can see what your forum is about and make up their minds if they want to become a member or not
