Description of problem
Hello, hope it's the proper place for such topic.I'd like to open a profile field where users can simply just fill it with a link. Then i'd like it to turn into a word in postprofile and when you click it, would lead into that link given in the profile in related field.
Like, let's say the name of the field will be Journal. I want users to fill that area with their own journal page link. Then in their postprofile, it would automatically turn into word "journal" and when I click that word, it would lead me to their own journal page.
I know I can just open a field and everyone can do journal but I'm hoping to find a way to avoid that kind of effort.

Re: Link Field in Postprofile
When you say journal page, are you referring to a page on your forum?

Yes, there is this sub-category where people open their own journal topics. I'm trying to get redirected to those from each of theirs post profile.
Re: Link Field in Postprofile
hello
you could use the character sheets option from the advanced profile, it adds another tab to your profile which you can put images on it, text, tables, or bars
character sheets have many uses such as Role-playing

Thanks for the answer. I was already using character sheets as well.
But i kinda solved the problem myself, not perfectly but I can work with it like this i suppose.
I wasn't using dm, profile, website etc. buttons in postprofiles, so i added new field under the communication tab, hid all others from postpofiles only leaving the one i opened visible. This way i can control the visual css for that field only as well. Instead of having it as a word like "journal", i had to create an icon for it but meh, it's still a shortcut ehehe.
It's solved, thanks.
