Solved Questions about Newsletter Popular Contents

Post by azwiz Tue 4 Jan - 6:31

I keep noticing that when I receive my Newsletter Popular Contents each month . That it is addressed to ( In bold )

Valley of the Sun Casual Club <noreply@forumotion.com> Unsubscribe

5:09 PM (4 hours ago)

to BillyBob

( At the top )

and

Valley of the Sun Casual Club <noreply@forumotion.com>

5:16 PM (4 hours ago)

to skoulikitest

( At the bottom )

These are non existent users that were temporary test admin accounts from the past .

I want to know if I delete them ( those usernames ) will I still receive the Newsletters ?

Also . Is there anyway of knowing how many Newsletters are sent out ?

Did you not read the warning?  They are not topics.   You gave links to forums.   It has to be links to topics.  Also the topics have to be public meaning open to guests.

Dear @azwiz

can you provide screenshots of what you are referring to?
Sadly it is a bit hard to understand what you are describing by pure text Embarassed

Thanks in advance :rose:

@azwiz I registered to your forum to check the memberlist, and it seems that the two users you are mentioning, still exist Embarassed
skoulikitest => https://www.valleyofthesuncc.com/u531
BillyBob => https://www.valleyofthesuncc.com/u223

They are probably registered with an email account you have access to, that's why you keep receiving it. Can you check this?
If you want to delete the accounts, be sure to go to their profile from your ACP, mark "Delete this user" and confirm :rose:

Lol . Yes you are correct . As I stated above . I know how to delete users .

"

I want to know if I delete them ( those usernames ) will I still receive the Newsletters ? "

So as I was inquiring if I delete those nonexistent temp accounts . Will I still receive the newsletters ?

I guess you are saying " Yes " go ahead and delete them . I will still receive the newsletters . As I do want to receive the newsletters .

Thank you .

@azwiz if you remove them from your forum they will disappear permanently and any newsletter or email will be sent to them anymore Wink

So yes, feel free to remove them if you don't want to receive emails to those accounts. Otherwise you can simply disable the newsletter reception from the same ACP page.
