Forum profile edit page is loading slowly

Hello!
For a month or more, our users have had a problem with the profile edit page. All of the members have an issue accessing the page, cause it loads really slowly, and takes a lot of time if you want to change your avatar, signature, or some profile information. It loads but takes a lot of time. All other forum pages load fast and there is no issue.
We checked in some other forums, and there are no issues accessing the profile edit page, it loads quickly, just as any other page in the forum.
What might be a problem, is there any chance to fix this? It's just disturbing and frustrating to wait so long every time since it's an RPG forum and our users often change the appearance or need to edit some information. Not to mention that people have multiple accounts in our forum.

We modified these templates:
profile_view_body
rpg_sheet
rpg_sheet_edit

but we modified them from a long time ago, like 3-4 months ago and we did not have this problem until a month ago

i think you should check if something is causing a conflict with our system updates

try to
- force the default templates and check
- disable the javascript and check

So we tried both ways, and it didn't work. It still loads slowly even if we forced default templates and disabled the javascript
We also have like a tester forum with the same templates and codes as in the main one, and it works perfectly, everything loads fast. It's just really weird that in this one particular forum, and for everyone, the profile edit page doesn't load

Hello can you please run this small test for me please.
Please go to the page you are having a problem with and do the following, Look at the bottom left hand side of your screen and there should be a little dark box with the words waiting for then a site name.

looks a little like this in the screen shot.
this will not show on a mobile phone but should show up on a laptop or PC and i think it will also show on a tablet if in basic forum mode.

Can you tell me what the words say in that little box please may be a good thing to do is to screen shot it for me

also what browsers are you using ?
Have you gave other browsers a go ? also clear your browser history.

So this shows after just a page loaded (I'm sorry it's in Lithuanian since my browser is in my language I guess but "Laukiama" means "Waiting for" so yeah)


after that, just as you said, it's just a site name (https://afterdark.forumlt.com/). But it shows up now only if like move the mouse over the logo, or link, not all the time it's there. I don't know if that's relevant.

Also if I go to change avatar (this page also load very slowly) it shows like this:


And yes, we tried Mozilla Firefox and Opera, and asked our members to try it too, and everyone says the problem is still there in every browser. We cleared histories also. Nothing.

I'm sorry for the late reply, got caught up in a work!
I was going to send test account details today, but I don't know if it's this link and disabling criteo services worked, or what happened, but since yesterday our profile page started working and loading just fine and fast. All the members say they are not having problems now! I don't know what happened and how, but yea, it works now and loads fast.
Thank you for all your help and insights though! It's solved now, I hope we won't have this problem again ^^

I Think this problem was linked to a problem i was having.
This is why i was asking if the little bar was waiting fora web address, I was having problems with the site illiweb. com and i think you was having the same thing but with some other address.

The good news is the people who host the links have now fixed the problem i had and at the same time your problem was fixed at the same time that is why i think it was the same problem as mine.
