Windows 10: News & Interests in Taskbar
When I open the news & interests in the taskbar, I get this message, "we're having trouble loading your feed." I have tried the solutions I found from Google search, but none have worked.

Well, in this case I was wondering if I could ask you to do me a favor?
First, check and get the latest Windows Update
Second, re-enable "News and interests" feature via Registry Editor by pressing Windows + R -> type gpedit.msc and hit Enter
Find and locate it in

Re: Windows 10: News & Interests in Taskbar
No Sir, it's Local Group Policy Editor, available for Windows Pro and above but not for Home userSLGray wrote:I get an error when I try gpedit.msc . Did you mean regedit?
If you get an error, please give this a try
Open a new notepad, copy & paste this
- Code:
@echo off
pushd "%~dp0"
dir /b %SystemRoot%\servicing\Packages\Microsoft-Windows-GroupPolicy-ClientExtensions-Package~3*.mum >List.txt
dir /b %SystemRoot%\servicing\Packages\Microsoft-Windows-GroupPolicy-ClientTools-Package~3*.mum >>List.txt
for /f %%i in ('findstr /i . List.txt 2^>nul') do dism /online /norestart /add-package:"%SystemRoot%\servicing\Packages\%%i"
pause
Run it as Admin and reboot
You should see it

Re: Windows 10: News & Interests in Taskbar
Group Policy Editor is not available in Windows 10 Home and that batch file (a.bat) should fix the error
Or you can try to turn on a VPN program like Cloudflare and see if News & Interests could load

Re: Windows 10: News & Interests in Taskbar
I had the same issue a few months ago, and it took me a while to figure it out. It turns out I needed to make sure the privacy settings in my browser were up to date. Once I did that, everything worked perfectly. You could also try looking for some cheap windows keys online, as that could help fix the issue as well. Using windows keys from a reliable resource provides access to the latest patches, bug fixes, and security updates. That should do the trick for you

What does your browser have to do with this? I am talking about the toolbar at the bottom of your desktop on your PC.
