Description of problem
I did read something about gaps, but I don't think it helped me with my issue. As long as I don't use any formatting the post will post okay in the topic.
https://public.fotki.com/marvelousartworks/a-ma-forum/misc-images/proper-spacing-no.html
The minute I change anything even a font size, there are huge gaps in the post.

I tried editing the post to take the gaps out and it looks fine until I submit it then all the gaps are there again.
I need to be able to at least make my font larger as it's so small.
Thanks for your help.

Hello
To check if something is causing this follow these steps
- if your viewtopic body template is modified set the templates to default option and retry
- turn off your javascript and retry

Re: Large gaps if any formatting is used in a topic
when making your new posts / topic's what mode are you using on your editor ?
is it white looking or yellow looking ?
if you have it so it's yellow you will see lots of codes in your post and if you have it white it will show you just how you typed it at the time.
If you are getting big gaps in the text it would suggest to me that the editor is adding a new line
when you change modes.
My advice is not to change the modes when making your posts and then it will not do this I always use the white looking button its shows you what you see is what you get and i never use the Preview button as this can sometimes add a little gap in the text for some reason.

It was actually on the yellow one...but, I don't remember seeing a bunch of code. I just clicked on the white icon and made a long test post with center, colors, links, smilies, and a few other things and it seems to be working without any gaps in it. I need to do some other longer posts, but for now that seems to have fixed it.
Can you hold this open for a day while I do some other posting so I can be sure it is fixed? If not, then I will just open another topic and let you know what going on. I am not going to click on solved yet. But, if you feel like it is solved, then go ahead and close this out.
Thanks for your help,
AngelM
EDIT: I made a bunch of changes and everything seems to be working okay. This can be closed. Thank you.
