FORUM IS LOCKED

Yes . I came to my forum today to find it locked . Can you tell me why this is please .

I am missing all my icons on my toolbar?
Cannot post or edit .

Hello, the icons are normal, there is a general problem, don't worry. For the rest, perhaps you are trying to enter with an account that does not have permissions in that forum, and not with the admin account.

Are you saying there is a current problem ?

No . I can enter my AP . Am still the only Admin . Full permissions .

if you are admin / founder you should have the right to use any post on the forum locked or not.

Forums are currently experiencing an issue with images, so what you see seems to be Alternative text of image due to the fact that images don't load as expected.

But like Ape said, if you are admin on your forum you can post everywhere you want, even if the forum is marked as "locked".

However, you should have only visual issues, if your forum is locked that hasn't changed with this issue, it's probably because you selected "Locked" in the Admin panel / General / Categories and forums > Edit a forum > Forum Status.
A forum doesn't lock by itself, I think it was the normal behavior you expected, but this visual issue may be disturbing.

But today I cannot even make posts .

The profile pics are gone .

All icons are missing .

Not just visual issues


This is my biggest concern . My hidden forum . As you can see I have 7 pages full of my stored content . Personal , legal , family , etc .

As for your problem with posting can you please PM me a test account with admin powders and a link to your post / forum you can't post on.

You say you cannot post because you don't see the post button, but technically you are able to post normally -but it could be hard to do so, I agree-.

There is no general bug about permissions, if a private forum appears publicly please check permissions for this forum in ACP > General > Categories and forums.
The display seems to be broken, okay, but the technical displaying / presence of informations should not be affected.

The text "This forum is locked, you cannot post, reply to, or edit topics" is alternative text for the "Locked" newtopic / reply button, so its a link, you should be able to post a new topic simply by clicking on this text while this bug is still present.
