Coucou @Roa
is the domain bought through forumotion or added as cname (external provider)?
If it is the second case, note this:

If it is the second case, note this:
An external domain name configured via a CNAME does not have the ability to force a redirect from the forum's base internet address to the custom domain. The forum will respond to both addresses at the same time. For more information, please contact your domain host's support.
Re: Force my .net domain
Hello I see you have one of our packages and a domain name already installed on your forum.
The good news your members would be using your new domain when they click the link or if they have it bookmarked on their browser. If they have the old URL it will auto redirect to your new address / domain.
Sadly you can't stop them using your old URL as a link to your forum but please don't worry your new address is the one they will see when going on your site.
My Advice:
It's always good to ask your members to save the new URL BUT if you forget to pay each year for your domain and package then the URL will go back to the basic one again, this then might mess up your members and think your site is gone so i always let them use the old URL and let your forum do your work for you and redirect then to your new URL.
I hope that helps you. Please have a great weekend.
Regards.

Re: Force my .net domain
Thanks for helping out. My domain comes from forumotion itself, and I just realize there is an option to force the new URL in the administrative settings.
