Internet bots?

Internet bots also called robots, spiders, crawlers, Malwarebots or webbots, is it good or bad for my discussion page on Forumotion/Danish forumnet?

- Or are they necessary for the site to work correctly?

- And can they access and see closed categories on the page?

Hello, crawlers are good for the SEO positioning of your forum, so initially it is good that you have all the forums open for guest reading only, so that the bots index it, after a few days you can close them, the bots will have indexed all of them. the topics that you have open to guests. Bots are like any guest, they can't see anything that you have closed to guests.If they cannot see a topic they do not index it.
