“Advert” or “Announcement” Bot at the end of posts

Adding a bot that automatically posts something at the very end of the post, like a link to a forum, and an announcement, and also add text saying it is an automated message. This will be a dynamic one though, so the admins will be able to update it across the whole forum, and an option for “catagry / forum” spefic bot posts.

So, the administrator (maybe forum moderator as well), can edit site-wide bot posts, forum moderators (if allowed) will be able to edit forum-spefic bot posts. And also an option for people to turn off these “bot” posts unless the bot post is marked “critical”.

It's sort of possible, unfortunately the founder's account only has access to the templates.

Honestly, I don't like this,sorry, because when I am reading a topic, I don't want to be bothered by other information that is not related to it, even when this info is placed at the end of the topic.

If you wanna make users aware of certain information, you can use other less intrusive (and more effective) ways.

For example, using the announcement feature, already available through the ACP

Exactly, why do you need a bot to do this?

What about other versions?

Other versions can be done, you just have to know your way around the templates. Few changes to the CSS too.
