Important Question about restrictions

Dear all,

Can i make a form that a member can post in it and only the admin or a specific group can read the post ?
in such way to make it privet from the other members

hope someone have an answer to that

I dont think you can do this with posts.. but might be able to do it with topics.

If you go into the Adminitration Panel >> Forums , Create your forum, then go into >> Permissions ...

You will be able to 'tick or untick' whichever permissions you wish to grant to a particular forum.
Giving members permission to >>view the forum, Open topics and to edit and delete their topics, But NOT to read topics should work... Just make sure you put a tick in the admin and mod boxes so that they can read the topics.

thanks i've tried it but still not working

you can go to admin panel > forum > spesific forum you want > permissions and then unmark everything for members except open a topic .

Not sure if it will work , but give it a try
