Is it possible to get something like in vbulletin where next to each forums name it shows how many members/guests are viewing it?

Example:

Something like this is already possible. If you click on one forum, you'll see a line below the topic list that reads: "Users browsing this forum: None". Other than that, you can view a list of all currently online visitors in "Misc / Statistics". Smile
