the domain name is not free. You have to but credits and then but it through forumotion. Many members are having this problem lately.

I'm not an expert here but I've been on forumotion for a while and I think there are two possibilities regarding domain names:

1- You get a new domain name but one which is already part of domains forumotion has bought.
For example, mine is on editboard.com but there's a long list of other domains, owned by forumotion, and I think you can pick another one and if the combination you pick (ex. jon + editboard.com) doesn't already exist, they'll give it to you, for free.
They already own these domains (editboard and others), you don't have to buy them.

2- You can get a custom domain name. In this case you make the name yourself.
That's the one you have to pay for (or buy with credits). It has to be bought and registered, forumotion doesn't already own it.
