Perhaps, like me, they're not too sure of the question. Can you explain more? If I'm in any thread on my forums, the Home link is always shown in the navbar.

Im sorry! My bad!!!!

Okay, when you go into a thread, on the top, it has the link to the "root". But I would like it to be ON THE SAME LEVEL as the other forums/thread. That way it will be faster to go to the main page to jump different forums! Jus like here, "The forms of forums" is the main page, "main root" if you will. My page doesnt have that...I wanted to know how to ad that feature.

It should be there. It is part of the default CSS. Which theme are you using? And did you change your CSS?

It appears that Clinton removed it. I am pretty sure this is part of the CSS and not template editing.

I will ask Jalokim to take a look and see if he can respond. He should know.

Actually the more I investigate, I don't think this is part of the default CSS. As the other themes do not seem to have it either. But I am still asking around to find out if it is template editing or a code that needs to be added somewhere.

I am not very good with CSS, coding and scripts as you can tell. lol The staff member who normally handles these is away for the moment. So I am doing what I can. Wink hehehe

It is not a CSS problem ... that i a certain of... the CSS manages only the display in terms of graphics ... there are very few changes to the base view that you can have...

I don't know about template editing as i don't use it... haven't even seen it really...

But i think there is a problem with category reading ... do you have categories and forums or only forums???

If its nothing from the above i'd suggest trying to change the hierachy ... maybe some version will display the links
admin panel-> general -> hierarchy

See if the CSS is full with codeing. If it is then Clinton has template editing on the site he makes his templates, and he deleted this link.

Jalokim::

I have both and I tried to change the hierachy and still nothing.

Kilsek::

The CSS is very full. I dont know how to edit it though. If I did, I would have changed a couple of things on my skin. ^_^

^^ yes i'd agree with the screen above... check your descprition.

I also think you should check if you haven't got any javascript or other scripts in your metatags or soemthing

edit: that is the answer to your problem... i have just checked it... after deleting the site name i can't see the link

eiyuu and Jalokim::

Thanks a lot!!! That was the problem. If you want an index link on under the nav (like the one I was saying) you HAVE TO HAVE A SITE NAME in the General - Configuration area or else you will not have it!!!

Great to hear you solved it, and I think a lot of us, me included all learned about this, so we will now know the answer to this question if it arises again.

Thank you again eiyuu!! You've helped more than one here!

Since this thread appears to be solved, I will lock this thread and mark it as solved.

Glad we could help!

Thanks!
