favicon on every page

First topic message reminder :

hello.. i read. here abt to put favicons on every page.. ( not only on homepage ) n also read that if u want favicon on every page u hav to buy points n do all tempalete edit thing... so wat exactly it is ?? can v put favicon on every page of our site only if v buy points or witht buying or any other changes ? plz tell

I checked the browsers and the favicon still works for internet explorer and firefox.

Aight.....When you put in the DESCRIPTION of you HOMEPAGE of the forum copy and paste this::

<!-- début script Favicon --><link rel='SHORTCUT ICON' href=URL OF THAT FAVICON><!-- fin script Favicon -->


Now....when you host your favicon, CHANGE URL OF THAT FAVICON to where ever your HOSTED you file (EXAMPLE::http://www.fileden.com/files/2008/5/11/1906257/thisismyfav.png)

So heres the what SHOULD be final::
<!-- début script Favicon --><link rel='SHORTCUT ICON' href=http://www.fileden.com/files/2008/5/11/1906257/thisismyfav.png><!-- fin script Favicon -->

NOW....make sure you save and test it out. IF YOU DONT SEE IT, THEN CLEAN OUT YOUR HISTORY ND COOKIES. THIS WILL WORK IF YOU DO EXACTLY WHAT IS UP HERE!!!!

***NOTE*** IF YOU DONT SEE IT FOR A DAY OR SO, IT COULD BE BECAUSE OF YOU HOSTING SITE!! IT MAY BE DOWN OR UNDER MATIANCE..

it doesnt work here either, after uploading favicon and all that and pasting it in the site discription and saving it. still didnt work, i dont know just wanted to try it.

I just went onto your site...it works on ALL THE PAGES!!!

I think the problem is that you guys are upload you ico's to non image hosting sites... you are uploading them to download sites...
I uploaded mine to fileden and everything works fine.

oh and remember that the images must be in .ico format... other will not work

mine does not work on every page... anyone can help?

Im using the french code... that funny one mentioned at the beginning... i pasted the code to my site description and the ico file uploaded to fileden...
maybe its because the ico is animated? I don't know
