music player

I would like to add a music player to my website. is it possible to have one where each individual member can upload music to it and have them all played at random to every member.

Ive tried downloading a few but couldnt get any to work.

does anyone have any codes i can embed or link too please ?

how would you know that users werent uploading ilegal music. I am not sure but you could be risking your forum if you manage to do this. They seem pretty hot on this subject right now.

I just dont know how the copyright laws on music work, if they upload music to be played on a forum to others is that classed as breach of cpoyright?
It maybe worth checking with admin or someone first.
They are issuing warnings now and giving a set time to remove anything that breaks the TOS, instead of just closing sites so that is good. So if you did slip up it looks like you would get a notification.

Use www.singingbox.org and then you will be able to add any song they want because singingbox has tons of music to add, of coarse members will not be able to add their own music, but you can make an Music request so that members will be able to tell you what kind of music they want.

RIGHT i GOT THAT WORKING OK..... BUT I HAVE A NEW PROBLEM...

IT ONLY WORKS ON THE MAIN PAGE IF I CLICK TO VIEW ANY FORUMS ETC IT DISSAPEARS AND THE MUSIC STOPS

I HAD IT INPLACE OF THE FORUM WELCOME MESSAGE

ANY IDEAS AS I WANT IT TO PLAY NON STOP THROUGHOUT THE SITE

I have a bit of a different idea...one of our members informed us of this totally legal music site called Pandora. You list what music you want to hear and it adds simular music to your playlist or radio station. You can add as many stations as you choose. One thing though; it is currently only available in the United States and Canada, but they are planning to add other countries.

heres what to do since you also want other members to get involve in uploading music...

and dizzler requires password, just be able to let them know the password so they may also manage the add of new music to be listed...

and if you want to put it in the forum just create a widget. so if they are posting etc.. they will still see it
