Do you mean when somebody replies to the topic, you get an email notification?

Yes it wont leave me alone it keeps sending me an email when someone posts a new post anywhere whether i have posted there or not. I have turned it off on my "Profile Preferences" but it is still doing it

Try to empty your "watched topics" list in your profile. Select all topics there and click "stop watching this topic".
