phpBB VS vBulletin VS IPB

Well here is what i know 'bout:

IPB Has Great design,Not free
vBulletin is awesome forum,ugly design,maximum protection,expencive and not free[200$]
phpBB Free Awesome design,a lot of holes[Not sure for this]

you miss off SMF ugly design but prolly must safest forum you can get.

I voted IPB, it is the best by far, you don't know until you actually use it.

I have to decide between phpBB and vBulletin. I think I will choose phpBB simply because it is free and it's good. I like vBulletin, but because it costs, I have to vote against it.

vbulletin . easy to make good mods for your site with it

^^ yeah ... v bullit is good with mods...
I don't really like IPB ... and i have no idea what those other ones are...

but under reasons of stability and comfort i pick forumotions phpbb

I like phb because I am able to use it easliy.I am a " super mod" on a national VB boarand I had a really steap learning curve in order to be effective. It is very good but a lot more complicated.
One very good feature is the soft delete.
Mods can soft delete a post, so it is removed from view completly but the founder can see it and why it was deleted, and decide if it stays deleted or is reinstated.
But for myself phb everytime, and fourumation in particuar.

Phpbb is more prefered for me and i like it

I'm moderating one large (over 30k users) forum which uses vB and I'm not so thrilled about it. It's not as easy as phbb to use and it doesn't look as good either. It's also way too expensive for my budget. I prefer phpbb.

I personally would choose vBulletin.

i have used a variety of forum software .. yet i still find myself coming back to phpBB - so far, i find it the best to use, and gives me a lot more creative freedom with my themes.

PhpBB because it is free and easy-to-use.

I like Phpbb, But I like the features you get with vBulletin.

I know how you can get ipb free you must go to download filezilla client to download folders from ipb and create a user to zipe.cc.cu . Then you make a database and you must upload with filezilla client at you database (which you create) and then ... install the forum and IPB IS AT YOUR HANDS!!!

someone says me phpBB has a lot holes,
means that it can be hacked more easily
i dont belive them

vBulletin is much better, as my friend hosted from it and I really enjoyed moderating it, because of how simple it was.

btw i voted phpbb coz it have the best visual,vbulletin its like frozen stone,nathing is animated expept links

phpbb is best ... bcoz its free & easy .... but vbulletin is more better but its costly!

Other software forums are bad, ugly design or have to pay too much.
Its better, too have good design forums for free!
