yes,
It depends on your module/widget positioning.

go to admin panel -> modules ->Forum widgets management
first change your column 1 width to 0
then change your column 3 width to 180
press save
enter the menu again
now, you just click and drag your widgets from the left to the right side.
or click and drag from the bar at the bottom..
and save

I think he's talking about the profile - not in a widget. Not sure, but ...

to change the profile go to
admin panel-> general -> configuration
change the: Profile position in the messages : left or right
