the new post thingy and the writing at the bottom clash
My forum is here and I have a little annoying problem, which will make my forum look really ugly, the thing at the bottom that says what new forums look like is hitting the writing a the bottom of the screen, is there any way to move it up or to move the writing down?

Hello,
this can be solved by adding this piece of code into your stylesheet in "Display / Colors / CSS STylesheet". Click submit when you are done.
ul.linklist li.rightside{margin-top:0px;}

Re: the new post thingy and the writing at the bottom clash
Hi there,
I have the same problem.
I put the code in and it seemed OK, but then the bottom bar popped back over the legends. When I click refresh, it's fine but as soon as I move my curser back into the main window, it shrinks again.
Is there anything else we need to do?
Thanks.

Yep!. I've just checked it again and exactly the same problem.
Even when I have my browser in full screen mode, it still cuts in.

Well, do you have already text in the CSS stylesheet box? If yes, try to paste the code I provided at the very bottom of that box and submit.

Re: the new post thingy and the writing at the bottom clash
please click the "See your forum basic CSS" link and a new window should pop up full of nasty text.
press ctrl+a to select it all and ctrl+c to copy it... then go to your empty css box and press ctrl+V to paste it...
then proceed with sunny's advise seeing as it will change your text placement

Press shift then click the link for the CSS
It should then force it to open in a new window

Strange... are we actually talking about the same problem? The OP was talking about the bottom bar where it reads "Free forum | phpbb | Forum Support | Statistics | etc...". This bar had an offset that can be fixed with the code above. Just wondering, as your forum (if you are talking about the one in your profile) doesn't show this problem.
Otherwise, be sure you have pasted the full code with all brackets and you have clicked "submit" after pasting.

Hiya, Sunny.
Yep we're talking about the same thing. It doesn't happen on the actual index page, but when you go into a forum where there are extra legends than on the first page, it happens. I thought it strange too, hun. Especially as I can clear when I click on refresh page, but then it jumps back up as soon as my cursor moves onto the page.
Yes, I pasted the code exactly as you have it above and pressed submit.
Puzzling, eh?

It's probably rather a browser-related problem. Which one are you using? Your forum (index and subforums) shows up fine for me, and I can't see any wrong setting in the CSS as well.

I'm using IE 7, hun.
If it can't be fixed, it's not a huge problem. Just one of those little niggles, and I'm a sod for wanting to know Why!!!! with everything.
