Any data currently held on a Forumotion hosted forum, remains property of forumotion. You would lose all posts and details.

Re: forumotion to phpbb server
Forumotion are providers of Php
I am not sure on how far they can support, but they seem to support many other sites with many many members. I would assume they can support you as far as you need to go, they are very popular.
If it has been slower in the last week or 2, please be aware that alot of people have been experiencing the same of late, and it's something thats being worked on by those 'in the know'

Recommend everyone to clear their private data/cookies regularly also, to ensure optimum speed from their own connections.
I don't declare my advice accurate but I hope it's been of some help

Re: forumotion to phpbb server
If you are moving to another forum host, you cannot transfer any content that your forum has. As already said, all the content on your forum remains with Forumotion. The only thing that can be given back to you, is your custom domain name that you paid for.
And phpBB is the forum software that Forumotion uses. As I have said, just because you are moving to another forum host that has phpBB, you cannot take your forum with you.
